Unparalleled luxury awaits at The Yurt at Hollands Farmhouse, nestled in a secluded natural setting that overlooks the soothing Dorset countryside.

What better way to immerse yourselves in all the enchanting beauty of nature, than by resting your heads in a lovingly hand-built, luxuriously furnished yurt?

Hollands Farmhouse originally dates back to the 18th century, and was once a working dairy farm. In present times, the farm's gardens have been beautifully maintained to provide the ideal setting for an unforgettable countryside escape.  Perfectly situated just ten minutes from Dorchester, you'll also find you're only six miles away from the nearest beach, meaning all holiday tastes are more than catered for.

With your adults-only yurt located in a secluded paddock within the farmhouse grounds, you'll have a tranquil two-acre garden at your disposal...relaxation is almost mandatory here!

Locally crafted by experts and created from fine oak and canvas, the yurt itself is sustainable, wonderfully spacious, and insulated with sheep's wool for extra cosiness. You'll find everything you need to relax and revive inside, from a crackling woodburner in the bespoke living area, to a super king-sized bed dressed in goose down duvets and plump pillows.

Everything has been taken care of here, so you'll even find mains electricity, USB charging sockets and WiFi for those who need them! Meanwhile, a luxurious ‘open stable' kitchen provides plenty of scope for fine al fresco dining, and the bespoke horse box bathroom includes a heated towel rail, complimentary toiletries and a piping hot shower.

Head out to the garden for even more luxury, in the form of a cedar wood hot tub, a giant bean bag and a cosy hammock...you'll be spoilt for choice of sunset and stargazing points. With a range of sumptuous, locally-sourced hampers on offer to complement your stay, you'll never need (or want!) to leave.

Perhaps greet the morning with some sunrise yoga on your private lawn, and after a hearty home-cooked breakfast, why not simply curl up with a book, or chat the day away with the one you love in superlative natural surroundings?

If you prefer getting out and exploring, you'll find a great deal to captivate. Ringstead Bay shingle beach, once used by smugglers, is both stunning and secluded, found just six miles away. If you prefer sand between your toes, Weymouth Beach is just a little further, consistently named as one of the top ten beaches in Europe.

There are plenty of pretty towns to discover, while the UNESCO World Heritage site of Lulworth Cove is a must-visit for lovers of geology (or simply beautiful views!)  Fans of the TV show Broadchurch will enjoy a trip to West Bay - known as the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast - while the bustling ‘Pearl of Dorset', otherwise known as Lyme Regis, is just 45 minutes away by car, and perfect for a lively day out.

After a culture and activity-filled day, knowing you're heading back to such a peacefully luxurious setting is guaranteed to soothe your spirits. Fire up the hot tub, crack open a bottle of bubbles...and as the first stars make their appearance in the evening sky, all that's left to do is relax.
