Over 230 years old, Scarborough’s charming Grade II listed Windmill is the area’s last remaining building of its kind.

Conveniently located in a tranquil cul-de-sac that’s mere minutes away from the bustling town centre, the Windmill is also a short distance from the golden beach and fun, traditional resort that have attracted visitors for over 400 years.

Offering a refreshing alternative to the usual seaside guest houses, there are two stunningly refurbished, self-contained apartments to choose from inside the Windmill itself… whichever you choose, it’s sure to put the wind back in your sails!

If you’re willing to climb 38 steps to the top, you’ll be rewarded with fabulous 360-degree views of Scarborough and the glistening sea from the Balcony Suite, as well as enjoying exclusive access to the furnished balcony walkway, an ideal spot from which to watch the sunrise over coffee.

Inside the romantic two-storey apartment awaits a modern, well-equipped kitchen – complete with a dishwasher and a microwave, plus a cosy bedroom, and a lounge with a 42″ TV for snuggly evenings in.

But if you don’t have a head for heights, don’t worry. Simply opt for the homely, two-storey Madeline Suite, instead.

Generously spread over the windmill’s first and second floors, the curved and contemporary apartment is sumptuously styled, with gleaming fixtures and fittings that will make it hard to believe you’re staying in such a historic building!
