Take time out to live the life aquatic for a while, in this unique Bearsted-based conversion that's ideal for exploring the beauty of Kent.

The Water Tower in Bearsted is a distinctive building with an historic purpose - supplying vital water for the people of the village. These days, it's a charming holiday conversion sleeping up to 4 people that's not only comfortable and full of character, but it's also perfectly positioned for you to explore Kent, otherwise known as the ‘Garden of England'...what could be better?

Spacious and warm throughout, featuring uniquely circular rooms with curved windows (no boring straight lines here!) the two-floor Water Tower is the perfect marriage of traditional with modern style, retaining many of its original features whilst perfectly incorporating everything you'd expect from a relaxing holiday cottage.

The ground floor includes a welcoming, open living area with a dining room and kitchen that features an electric cooker, a microwave and a handy washing machine, perfect after a long day exploring the countryside.

The well-furnished living area also features a gas woodburner for a warming ambience. Why not grab some glasses to enjoy a bottle of wine (or two!) and a sociable chat around the fire? Of course, if you prefer al fresco conversation under a blanket of stars, you'll find a beautiful outdoor terrace complete with furniture for you to enjoy to your heart's content...or at least until it gets too cold!

The first floor features two perfectly snug bedrooms - one double and one twin, both including an ensuite shower room and toilet.

Why not spend your first day taking time over a leisurely breakfast complete with fresh coffee and plenty of goodies, then setting off to discover everything Kent has to offer? Be warned, however - there's so much to see and do in the local area that you may be a while!

Maybe you'd like to start with some of the picturesque walks right from the doorstep, or perhaps take in a few rounds of golf? How about a spot of pony trekking through the beautiful countryside, for a fun activity that leaves the stresses of everyday life firmly behind you?  For those who prefer to relax and contemplate life while looking out over cool, clear water, there are plenty of fishing opportunities nearby.

Slightly further afield, the renowned Leeds Castle is two miles from the Water Tower, offering almost 900 years of majestic history to be discovered within its beautiful grounds...not to mention numerous exhibitions, attractions and activities to see and try.

Local shops are nearby for you to stock up on essentials...and there are also a few pubs to visit along the way, should you feel the need to call in for a reviving drink or two after yet another long walk!

For a real sprinkling of holiday pleasure, why not dip your toes into the Water Tower...for a relaxing break that will float you well away from all your cares back home for a while?
