Proudly known as one of the largest treehouses in Europe, this incredible retreat is intertwined with the branches of an ancient 150- year old sycamore tree in the heart of the beautiful Highlands.

Set within the grounds of the striking and charming Scottish castle that is Ackergill Tower, this lavish and extravagantly furnished treehouse has a host of incredible features.  Set over two levels with outdoor terrace and large relaxing lounge offering 180 degree views, you can soak in the spacious circular bath tub as you listen to the sounds of the trees, then when the night sets in lay back and stargaze from the comfort of the 7 feet circular bed, complete with twilight ceiling , The kitchen too is beyond homely, with a warming traditional fireplace to add to the cosiness. These are touches that make an already extraordinary atmosphere even more special, and an ideal spot for a romantic getaway.

By day, you’ll want to explore the 3000 acres of beautiful woodland and grounds in one of Scotland’s most picturesque areas, located right at its northern tip.  Treehouse guests also get the best of both worlds, being able to retreat to their accommodation in the woodlands, but with the added benefit of access to Ackergill Tower’s restaurant and bar, which have been known to play host to many a Hollywood legend, so you may also be lucky enough to spot one during your stay!
