A romantic, timelessly rustic hot tub retreat, privately set amidst 40 acres of meadow, woodland and grassland.
  • Sleeps: 2 (+1 small child)
  • Bedroom: 1
  • Bathroom: 1
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Swallowtail Hill is a soothing 40-acre Sussex farm, run by friendly owners Sarah and Christopher purely for conservation and biodiversity.

The result is that most of the adorable farm animals you’ll meet here are much-loved members of the family (each one has a name, from the playful pygmy goats, to the boxer dogs).

It also means that your rural backdrop is blissfully unspoilt and untouched, filled with wildflower-sprinkled meadows, ancient woodland, and shimmering ponds.

In short, you’ll feel as though you’ve unplugged from daily life in the most beautiful way imaginable!

You’ll find The Sussex Roundhouse secluded across a rustic bridge, in the heart of that enchanting woodland. Bespoke-designed for supreme off-grid couples’ comfort, you’ll discover a bright, circular open-plan space, with a dining table and bench seating, a well-equipped kitchen area, and a dreamy, window-facing kingsize bed with a reclaimed wooden headboard.

With an en-suite shower and that all-important flushing loo, you’ll have absolutely everything you need to breathe out, relax, and enjoy your peaceful surroundings.

In fact, why not head outside to the covered outdoor deck for an al-fresco supper (you could always treat yourselves to a barbecue box), relaxing on the comfy steamer chairs for a sunset-watching session later on?
