Get back to nature and reconnect with your loved ones, surrounded by the coastal beauty of the Llyn Peninsula.

You'll find the rustic Roundhouse Bunkhouse on the site of the Felin Uchaf Eco-Centre, a social enterprise and registered charity that teaches practical skills to young volunteers from all over the world.

Located along the stunning Llyn Peninsula, with its acres of Welsh woodland and windswept coastal views in almost every direction, you could argue that there's no finer place to learn!

Just like the other buildings you'll find on this amazing site, the Roundhouse Bunkhouse was lovingly crafted by a volunteer team, sleeping up to five guests in a warm and impossibly cosy space.

There's a blissful feeling of time coming to a complete standstill as you arrive, making your way through the winding woodland path to your secluded Roundhouse.

Its silver thatch blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, while inside, there's a raised, circular wooden bench that's home to five comfy single mattresses...complete with toasty duvets, soft pillows, and plenty of storage underneath.

The dormer window in the thatched roof casts a cheerful morning glow (whilst allowing you to stargaze at night), and there are overhead reading lamps if you've packed a good book to get lost in. You'll find a handy compost loo and cold water washbasin close by, too.

Spend your first evening chatting away at the circular seating area outside, whipping up a sizzling supper in the firebowl as you go.

After a sound night's sleep, wake to coffee on your balcony, watching the golden sun rise over the stream as you listen to the birds' joyful morning chorus. Is there any lovelier way to greet a brand-new day?

You're welcome to explore the 23-acre eco-site during your stay, which includes beautiful workspaces, picnic areas, organic gardens, and winding nature paths. There's a communal Roundhouse that's ideal for making new friends, and even a dedicated Storytelling Roundhouse, in which creative events are held throughout the summer to large, friendly audiences.

Curious about what lies further afield? The Snowdonia mountains are around an hour away by car, or you can meander along the romantic coastal path, strewn with traditional Welsh villages, windswept coves, and cosy coffee stops. Who knows, maybe you'll even spot a seal or a dolphin swimming by?

Head back to your Roundhouse Bunkhouse as the sun begins to set, recalling the day's activities with zeal as you toast marshmallows over the firebowl. The timelessly relaxed way of life you'll find here is sure to prove instantly addictive.
