Full description

This dramatic, multi-layered retreat with a separate tea house was designed by the master architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and is secluded amongst two acres of Michigan woodland.

Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the world-famous architect and pioneer of organic architecture, The Palmer House is a unique, multi-layered brick-and-cypress retreat set amongst two acres of woodland in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Inside you can expect plenty of Lloyd-Wright's trademark open, flowing spaces, along with his own designed furniture and built-in cabinets. Outside, the scenic terrace is sheltered by a show-stopping cantilevered roof.

There are three elegant bedrooms - complete with angular beds - to relax in, and a separate tea house, complete with a small kitchen and bathroom, that showcases the surrounding woodland through enormous windows.

There's plenty of nature and historic sites to explore in the surrounding area, but you may feel that relaxing in an iconic Origami chair, in an iconic house with your favourite people, is more than enough.
