Dating back over 300 years, The Granary Barn is one of a collection of seven luxurious and dog-friendly converted barns at Woodfarm Barns, located just outside the village of Stonham Aspal in the Suffolk countryside. Owner Carl has tried to retain as much of the charm of the original barn as possible, with the original roofing intact and enhanced. As you move inside, an open-plan living space defines the downstairs space, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen with extra luxury touches like a Nespresso coffee machine, an inviting lounge area, winter-friendly wood-burning stove and wood beams. Upstairs you are greeted with a stunning vaulted wood beam ceiling with chandelier and a striking feature window with views from the bed out to the fields, the window being hand-carved in oak by local craftsmen. A truly comfortable and cosy retreat to relax and unwind in. Outside, a fully enclosed garden with barbeque and patio is a great spot for pet-friendly al fresco dining.

Exploring the best of the area couldn't be easier, as you are within half an hour of the picturesque heritage coast and two designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, not to mention quaint towns and villages nearby, so it is a perfect base to explore this part of East Anglia.
