The moment you descend the Art Deco Apartment’s double-width, red-carpeted, LED-lit stairs, you’ll know you’ve arrived somewhere very special indeed.
(The Brighton house itself sports a blue plaque, as the famed playwright Sir Terence Rattigan once lived there during the 1960s).
Sleeping up to six guests in three impeccably stylish bedrooms, there are plenty of nods to the most glamorous of times past, including an authentic 1920s dressing table and intricate stained-glass windows.
Even the kitchen is a thing of wonder, with its 1950s ‘English Rose’ design that also includes cutting-edge SMEG appliances. Meanwhile, the shower room is resplendent with gleaming Art Deco tiling, to make you feel like a silent movie star preparing for a day of filming.
Watch those films in the sumptuous cinema lounge, with a 75″ surround sound TV hidden behind electric curtains. Oh, and if you’re thirsty, no problem – there’s a glamorous cocktail bar with seating, right beside you.
