Stay in a 19th century Welsh chapel, elegantly restored and peacefully nestled in a charming town by the picturesque foothills of the Black Mountains.
Ideal for those who love a long walk (particularly if you're bringing your well-behaved dog!) Talgarth Chapel is within rambling distance of the Black Mountains, complete with a mesmerising array of river, canal, and windswept hilltop paths.
Built in 1857, the chapel itself sleeps up to four guests, in cosy en-suite bedrooms that are housed within an architect-designed pod, so as not to disturb any of the building's intricate original features.
Boasting plenty of creative upcycling, the twin and kingsize beds are made from the original chapel pews, while contemporary additions include an Apple TV, cocktail mixing equipment, and coloured lighting to help you set the perfect evening mood.
Generous facilities include an industrial-style kitchen, to help you whip up feasts fit for the church elders! Savour them at the high-backed dining pews, or head out to your furnished courtyard and add a generous helping of sunset.
