Leave all your cares on the ground, as you head 40 feet up to a breathtaking lookout tower with incredible views of Oregon’s Umpqua National Forest…not to mention the occasional passing deer or bear!

Crafted to resemble the fire lookout towers of the early 1900’s, the modern structure is filled with creature comforts, from the well-equipped kitchen with hot and cold running water, to the deliciously comfy beds…surrounded by windows that let both sunshine and moonlight flood inside.

Oh – and not forgetting the hammock tree (perfect for curling up with a good book), and the gorgeous, wood-fired and spring water-fed hot tub (perfect for enjoying those spectacular sunsets!)

The surrounding 160 acres of private land are completely free for you to explore, and are home to a vegetable garden and a firepit.  There’s plenty to see and do close by, too – with historic Jacksonville and the sparkling South Umpqua Falls easily accessed. Yet you’ll probably opt to stay put in your sumptuous lookout tower, cradling a welcome glass of wine as you watch this incredible part of the world go by.
