Escape to Suffolk's beautiful Waveney Valley, in a unique floating glamping pod positioned on the shimmering Southern Broads.
  • Sleeps: 4
  • Bedrooms: 2
  • Bathroom: 1
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

The first of its kind in the UK, Secret Water is an elegant floating glamping pod, dreamily set on the unspoilt Southern Broads – the glistening jewel in Suffolk’s crown.

With soothing countryside views of the Waveney Valley all around, this really is the perfect place to relax, and let all your cares just float away on the river for a while.

Sleeping up to four guests in one double and one bunk room, you’ll feel calm and comfortable amongst the fresh, nautical-style décor. The pod floods with natural light by day, with white walls and cheery pops of colour providing a brightly uplifting feel throughout.

There’s an open plan lounge area for catching up with your loved ones, and a well-equipped kitchenette for rustling up maritime meals, including a two-ring hob, a small fridge, and that all-important microwave.

If you were thinking you’d have to leave the comfort of your pod to freshen up, think again! This is glamping after all, so there’s a shower room with a loo nicely on board.

Of course, it almost goes without saying that you’ll want to spend the majority of your time out on the furnished decking area, whiling away lazy sun-soaked afternoons over a chilled bottle of wine. Take in those magnificent views along the tree-lined river in breezy comfort, as you catch up on life with your loved ones.

If you’re in more of an adventurous mood, why not go sailing on the river instead, or maybe try your hand at kayaking or canoeing? There’s also a small rowing boat available for use throughout your stay – just get someone else to take the oars while you glide effortlessly along! Positioned on the edge of the Broads National Park, you’ll have plenty of sparkling water routes to choose from.
