A relaxed eco-farm retreat with traditionally styled, homely apartments and a vegetable garden, nestled amongst olive groves on the scenic, sun-dappled north coast of Crete.
  • Sleeps: 2-5 per apt
  • Bedrooms: 1-2 per apt
  • Bathrooms: 1 per apt
  • Minimum stay: 5 nights

Nestled on the northern coast of Crete, the fishing village of Agia Pelagia is quaint and scenic, surrounded by rolling hills, sheltered bays, and idyllic golden-sand beaches.

Agia Pelagia is such a special place that Saveriako, an Italian-born chef and a confirmed globetrotter, fell head-over-heels in love. He and his family immediately set about transforming a derelict farm into a magical, slow-lane retreat to share with guests looking to escape life’s hectic whirlwind.

Choose from five beautiful apartments, all set in the heart of an olive grove. Each apartment boasts its own uniquely rustic style, with vibrant pieces of well-chosen art, hand-crafted accessories, and cleverly upcycled furnishings, all in colours that reflect the traditional Greek blue-and-white.

Coupled with fresh sea views, you’ll feel as though you’ve arrived in heaven itself!

Perfect for a family, the mesmerising loft-style apartment sleeps five guests, while a second haven boasts two double bedrooms.  Last but by no means least are three boutique-style hideaways, each with one double bedroom that makes them ideal for romantic couples.

As you might imagine, you’ll have plenty of al fresco space for relaxing, laughing with your loved ones over a glass of wine, and engaging your creative soul in reading, writing, and art… whatever happens to take your fancy!

This is life in the slow lane, so if all you feel like doing is curling up in the hammock with a good book, or savouring fresh coffee on the flower-strewn veranda with paradise views of the sea, then what of it?

What the guests of Saveriako say

“I visited a few years ago and still think about it regularly. When people ask me my favorite place I’ve visited, I tell them the story of the amazing cook I met in Crete who taught me to make real spaghetti, the olive groves and the peace of the place. You’ll love it too.”
“Very
nice airbnb in the middle of olive trees. An enchanting view. The
apartment is clean with a solid equipment. The beach is 5 minutes by
car.”
“Nice apartments in the olive fields, Savarieko is a very friendly host and excellent cook.”
