Explore the outback in an exclusive beachside safari camp, remotely set within the dunes of Australia's Cape Range National Park.
  • Sleeps: Up to 3 per tent
  • Bedroom: Open plan
  • Bathroom: 1 per tent
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Immerse yourselves completely in Australia’s unique and wondrous wilderness, surrounded by a perfect combination of bushland and beach on a remote stretch of Western Australia’s Indian Ocean coast.

Sal Salis is an eco luxury, exclusive and activity-filled beachside camp, nestled amongst the dunes of the Cape Range National Park. Achingly close by is Ningaloo Reef, home to over 250 coral species and inhabited by hundreds of colourful fish. Preserving this remarkable natural environment is of utmost importance here; not only is the camp completely eco-friendly, but a percentage of its profits go directly towards conservation work.

There are fifteen off-grid wilderness tents and one Honeymoon Tent to choose from, all individually constructed on raised platforms. Each tent comes naturally complete with outstanding views, and the chance to absorb your senses in the authentic sights, sounds and smells of nature – blissfully free from the confines of your laptop and mobile phone.

Instead, there’s a full programme of unique experiences to distract you from your e-life. These range from guided gorge walks, sea kayaking and snorkelling, to optional activities such as swimming with whale sharks or humpback whales (additional costs apply).

In fact, you just never know whom you might meet on any given day at camp, from a grazing red kangaroo or a squawking galah, to the occasional passing wallaroo! Meanwhile, bright, jewel-coloured birds provide a joyously tuneful backdrop to your holiday.

While there’s plenty of luxury inside your spacious and super-comfy tent, it doesn’t come in the form of televisions or mini-bars.  Instead, you’ll find a handcrafted jarrah bed dressed in soft, cosy cotton and an ensuite bathroom equipped with natural toiletries.

For those in a celebratory (or extra romantic!) mood, the one and only Honeymoon tent is equipped with a little more space and privacy. Here you’ll discover a four-poster bed, a furnished deck and a double hammock that overlooks the deserted white-sand beach.
