Full description
An idyllic, dog-friendly Scottish Highlands retreat for unforgettable family escapes, secluded amongst whispering pine trees with direct access to the shoreline (and a private outdoor hot tub!).

Known for its mountainous landscape, abundant wildlife, and rugged sea views, Roshven is one of the most fascinating and magically unspoilt locations in the Scottish Highlands.

Perfect for large family escapes accompanied by two four-legged friends, the aptly named Roshven Sea House is secluded just above the beach, showcasing truly spectacular views.

Large, light-filled, and endlessly lovely, you're sure to fall head-over-heels in love with the contemporary design-led house, with its gorgeous high ceilings and soft toned décor maximising that relaxing, breathable sense of space.

Cleverly positioned floor-to-ceiling windows mean you can feast your eyes on the amazing landscape over a leisurely breakfast at the dining table, or from the comfort of the sofa on stormy evenings. Simply light the wood-burning stove to feel ridiculously snug.

When it's sunny, you can always head out to the decked patio to enjoy home-mixed cocktails with your favourite people, instead!

For extra al fresco treats, fire up the barbecue for a sizzling sunset supper, before taking an indulgent dip in the hot tub... then lighting the firepit for storytelling and marshmallow toasting under a blanket of stars.

Sleeping up to ten guests, there's plenty of choice when it comes to bedrooms. You'll find the sumptuous master on the ground floor, complete with a romantic wood-burner, a private balcony, and an en-suite double shower room.

There's also a cosy double and twin on this floor, sharing an indulgent bathroom with a double-ended bath, and a separate shower room that means nobody has to queue to freshen up!

Head upstairs to discover a second, snug-type lounge with a double sofa bed... irresistible when you're in the mood for a sleepover-style movie night. Particularly since the adjacent family room comes equipped with cabin-style bunk beds, for the younger ones to retreat to after the credits have rolled.

What to do after you've woken up from that sound night's slumber? Well, if you're in the mood to exert some serious energy, you could always tackle Rois-Bheinn, the area's highest hill. While it's not the gentlest of climbs, the scenery is spectacular, particularly from the summit.

Otherwise, why not kick back in nearby Glenuig, a tiny, friendly village that characterises the spirit of the Highlands... particularly in its community hall, which is famously home to regular lively events!

But if even that sounds a little too much, you've always got the option of curling up with a good book - and a wee dram - and getting lost in the blissful sense of calm you'll discover at Roshven Sea House.
