This luxurious home was originally the site of the research base for triangulated radar. These days, you’ll find it transformed into a beautiful and private retreat that’s sumptuously equipped with everything you’ll need, and much more besides.

Bordered by huge, light-attracting windows, the open-plan living and dining space is a wondrous platform for viewing that amazing landscape, equipped with a designer woodburner, snuggly seating, and toasty underfloor heating.

(If you prefer TV, you’ll find a computer provided for you to access as many online shows and movies as you can watch).

The kitchen is equipped with a Miele induction hob, oven and microwave, to make romantic mealtimes effortlessly easy. Enjoy them with a well-deserved bottle of wine, as you watch birds soaring across the sky from the comfort of your dining table.

There’s an elegant mezzanine open-plan bedroom waiting for you when it’s time to turn in, equipped with a downy kingsize bed and built-in wardrobe. But it’s the bathroom you won’t want to tear yourselves away from!

Featuring an outrageously indulgent sunken bath with waterfall taps and sea views, you’ll also find a separate shower room with heated walls…plus your very own sauna.

With two outdoor terraces to choose from – one facing east and one west, you can watch the sun rising and setting every day, equipped with a steaming mug of coffee or a romantic sundowner.

Two well-behaved pets are permitted too, so there’s no need to leave your best friends at home as you explore this amazingly unspoilt corner of the world. There are scenic walks to be taken in every direction…and why not head for the black-and-white Old Lighthouse for an historic trip back in time?

If you fancy travelling slightly further afield, you can chug along on the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch steam railway, enjoying all that soothing Garden of England scenery to its fullest. Just ten miles away is the former smuggler’s town of Rye, filled with boutique shops, cafés and restaurants.

Oh – and at the end of a long day’s exploring, you can pop into one of the friendly pubs you’ll find on the nature reserve itself (there’s also a mouthwatering fish hut that’s ideal for a caught-on-the-day supper!)
