Powys Gypsy Wagon
A lovingly artist-renovated retreat that's rich in creative luxury, privately secluded on a scenic mountain top in rolling Welsh countryside.
Once an unassuming gypsy vardo bow-topped caravan, Powys Gypsy Wagon has been beautifully re-imagined by its friendly artist owners, Jony and Pippa.
Expertly constructed around its original 1920s frame, the romantic retreat is filled with intricate and creative details, including hand-carvings, gold leaf, brocade, and brass. Deliciously secluded on a mountain top in rural Powys, you'll feel like the only two people in the world (though you'll have sheep and birds to keep you company!)
Plenty of natural luxury is provided, from the refreshing outdoor shower, to a full kitchen that's just a stone's throw from the wagon. Meanwhile, your wild garden is teeming with life, including glow worms that light up the grass in summer.
Wander the blissfully car-free paths and roads in the surrounding landscape, explore the nearby parks... or simply light the fire and hole yourselves up inside what promises to be your new favourite retreat.
