A whimsical lighthouse retreat, dog-friendly and soothingly sheltered beneath a Cornish headland by the South West Coast Path, with mesmerising sea views.

  • Minimum stay: 3 nights

Watch fishing boats sailing in and out of Padstow, from the cosy comfort of Nimbus Cottage, secluded beneath a headland at Trevose Head Lighthouse.

The automated lighthouse (which, thankfully, does not feature a booming fog signal!) was originally built in 1847, and your cottage is decorated in clean-lined vintage style that allows the sea views to shine.

Sleeping up to four guests and two well-behaved dogs in two comfy bedrooms – one kingsize and one superking or twin – you’ll have everything you need for a relaxing coastal break, including a family bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen.

With every holiday need so well covered, you’re free to roam the South West Coast Path, or simply let the kids and dogs use up all their playful energy on the sandy beaches close by.
