  • Sleeps: 4
  • Bedrooms: 2
  • Bathrooms: 3
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Perfectly located for exploring the vast Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park (if you make it that far!), Loch Long Retreat couldn’t be more superbly positioned.

Overlooking its namesake, the shimmering Loch Long, the sumptuous, architect-designed lodge boasts endless views of the hills and mountains beyond. Savouring these from the comfort of your sunken al fresco jacuzzi hot tub is sure to become an addictive way to spend sunset-time.

Sleeping up to 4 guests (and one well-behaved dog), even the hallway comes with a touch of flair… in the form of a retro jukebox!

Follow the hallway into the sociable, hi-spec kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar for cosy morning chats over coffee, or a relaxed glass of wine as you keep the chef company.

Enjoy the resulting feasts in the scenic dining room, or head through the patio doors and out to the terrace if you prefer an al fresco feast. Later on, cradle a post-dinner tipple in the magnificent lounge, with its squishy sofas and mesmerising views from floor-to-ceiling windows.

When it’s finally time to say goodbye to the day, the open, solid oak staircase will lead you up to two elegant bedrooms. Choose your favourite, from the minimalistic kingsize room with its stunning sleigh bed and en-suite wet room, or the glamorous superking master, with its romantic beamed ceiling, huge balcony, and Victorian-style en-suite with freestanding bath.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast – and the morning sunshine – out on your expansive slate deck, which runs around the outside of the lodge, and comes equipped with all kinds of delights! These include a funky picnic table, lazy sun loungers, and the aforementioned sunken hot tub.
