Full description
An imaginatively converted, dog-friendly chapel, filled with celestial comfort and beautifully positioned in a rural Welsh village that's close to the Ceredigion coast.

Rich in rural charm, and soothingly set on the banks of the river Teifi, Llechyrd is every inch a picture-perfect Welsh village.

The historic, creatively converted Llechryd Tabernacle is a wonderful base from which to explore not only the chocolate box village itself, but also the nearby Ceredigion coast, with the golden Poppit Sands, Aberporth, and New Quay all temptingly close by.

Sleeping up to six guests and their two well-behaved dogs, the detached chapel boasts light, comfort, and imagination in spades, for a holiday you'll still be talking about months after you've returned home!

Even the entrance is a thing of wonder, leading you through two large, imposing doors and into a hallway with staircases to the left and right (where to explore first?)

Double height hallways flank both sides of the chapel, allowing natural light to flood cheerfully inside the large, sociable space.  You'll find a handy utility room and two bedrooms cosily positioned on the ground floor - one superking and one twin - along with a stylish, modern bathroom.

Head to the end of the hallway to stake your claim on the master superking en-suite with bi-folding doors that bring the outside, inside. You'll pass an intriguing selection of creative twists on your way... including original chapel woodwork, and a quirky church organ!

At the top of those staircases awaits a magnificent open plan lounge, kitchen and diner, complete with luxurious high ceilings, and exquisite stained-glass windows that track the movement of the sun throughout the day.

Simply light the wood-burner by evening and relax in the squishy sofas, after a hearty, laughter-fuelled meal enjoyed around the dining table...accompanied by spectacular views of the river and surrounding forest.

If you prefer getting up close and personal with the Great Outdoors, simply wander outside to the furnished patio, where you can indulge in a sizzling sunset supper prepared on the charcoal barbecue.  There's plenty of lawned space to let the kids and dogs run wild and free, too!

After a serene morning spent over fresh coffee and gentle conversation, why not take one of the many footpaths you'll discover in the surrounding area, and find out where it leads?

Not only is there a friendly pub, restaurant, and shop in easy walking distance, but the bustling market town of Cardigan is a short drive away, boasting a castle, independent shops, and year-round festivals.

With so much to see and do in just about every direction, you can wear yourselves out in exactly the way you choose, before coming together in your beloved chapel by relaxed evensong.
