Come and discover your natural wild side and get creative in an award-winning, peacefully sustainable Cornish retreat built for eco-friendly luxury.

If you're looking for a relaxing nature-inspired holiday that will get your creative juices flowing, then Little White Alice, a stunning 28-acre sustainable sanctuary set in an ancient granite landscape, may be just the perfect place!

Self-sufficiency, sustainability and nurturing care for the environment is intrinsic to the values of the live-in owners, Rosie and Simon, and as such Little White Alice has been lovingly constructed to the highest standards of environmental sustainability, achieving a National Gold Sustainable Tourism Award for Excellence.  The 12-acre nature reserve, teeming with rare butterflies, grazing deer and wonderfully wild marshes strewn with ferns and moss, has also been recommended as a future County Wildlife Site by Cornwall Wildlife Trust.

With a vegetable garden on-site, along with a welcoming collection of rare-breed animals including Golden Guernsey goats, chickens, Shetland ponies, sheep and alpacas, you'll find a whole new collection of friends just waiting to be made, as you breathe in an abundance of fresh, clear air and get right back to nature.

The only thing left to do is to choose your accommodation from a selection of eco-cottages and arks, all constructed to a high sustainable standard and featuring cosy wood-burning stoves with contemporary facilities.  Nion the Ash House is the largest cottage, wonderful for families or larger groups.  Featuring two bedrooms, you'll discover wide open living space, a hand-crafted oak kitchen and a private patio garden complete with barbecue - perfect for lazy al-fresco days.

Fearn the Alder House is cleverly built all on one level for easy accessibility, with a super king-size bed perfect for couples.  There's a large wet room, a private barbecue patio and plenty of warmly open living space.

If you'd rather stay somewhere a little different, an artisan-crafted, space-saving eco-ark, surrounded by lush wild flowers and sweet-scented herbs, may be just right!  Luis Eco Ark is a magical hideaway for couples that features a double bed, plus a single sofa bed and a small bunk for children.  You'll find an oak kitchen and a glassed decking area perfect for enjoying the authentic outdoor life over a sizzling barbecue - what could be better?  Uath Eco Ark is the same as Luis but can sleep up to 2 adults and 3 children with an extra sleeping pod featuring two single beds.

If you're in the mood for a spot of natural relaxation, you could find yourself setting up permanent camp at the Wild Spa!  Powered by nothing other than the sun, natural wood and wind, it inspires a genuine feeling of freedom and openness.  Relax in the sauna, gaze at the stars from the warming comfort of a wooden hot tub, or simply chill out on the decking.  For the truly brave, why not try a sauna session, followed by a very cold refreshing splashing from the ultimate outdoor bucket shower for an invigorating experience that will enliven your senses!

The South-facing Sanctuary Room is the perfect place to try out some new yoga moves, indulge yourself in a pre-booked spa treatment, finally get started on that book you've always wanted to write, or simply watch the birds as they joyfully tuck into some delicious treats from their feeders.  You'll also find an abundance of books, binoculars and pond-dipping kits ideal for the outdoor wildlife pond that the decking overlooks.

Oh, and if you'd prefer to begin a new creative project or try out a wonderful array of crafts, Rosie's studio is the perfect place!

During the day, why not get to know the animals a little better by getting involved with the daily feeding sessions, take the goats on a bramble ramble, or stroll along the pathways to explore the vegetable garden and orchard?

You may not want to tear yourself away from Little White Alice, but if you do venture further afield you'll easily discover something for everyone, from coastal path walks, to lazing on an array of Cornish beaches, to learning a new watersport on Stithian's Lake, to a spot of shopping in nearby Truro or Art watching in St Ives.

So for a sustainable holiday with a sense of natural relaxation and fun creativity built right in, come and be made welcome at Little White Alice!
