Dating back to the 1940s and restored in bright, cheerful red, ICI Salt Van cuts a striking dash at Northiam Steam Railway Station.

A working station on the Kent and East Sussex line, you can indulge in views of the Rother Valley, as well as watching the steam trains chugging in, without having to move a muscle!

Sleeping up to three guests, a downy double bed with a single bunk above awaits you on board. Generous facilities include an en-suite shower room, and a TV to relax in front of by evening.

All that’s left to do is pop open a bottle of bubbles and unwind in your private garden, watching the golden sun melt into the countryside beyond. This is first-class comfort at its best.
