Hooke Court Glamping
A soothing and historic retreat with an eclectic range of accommodation, nestled on a friendly site close to Dorset's Jurassic Coast.
With its perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, Hooke Court Glamping is an ideal setting for couples, friends and families who can't wait to escape from humdrum life back home!
Secluded on a friendly village site in West Dorset, you'll be achingly close to the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast, whilst enjoying sweeping, sheep-dotted lake-and-meadow views that will immediately soothe your senses.
Better still, there's plenty of choice when it comes to accommodation.
The thatched Stone Age Round House is cosy and authentic, with a feeling of having travelled back in time (without missing out on modern creature comforts!)
Secluded in its own furnished garden, inside you'll discover a well-equipped kitchen area, comfy seating, and a downy double bed to curl up in... along with toasty heating and lighting. Two extra camp beds can be provided if you've brought the kids along, too.
Meanwhile, the Saxon Long House boasts a downy superking bed, and plenty of extra space for the kids if needed! Furnished and decorated in calming historic style, there are comfortable seating and dining areas inside, along with full kitchen facilities.
Outside, you can relax in your own furnished garden - simply light the firepit and prepare those marshmallows for toasting.
Last but not least, the five-metre Bell Tents are a fantastic choice for families who want to experience life in the Great Outdoors, without compromising on luxury in the process.
Each tent site is made up of a kitchen tent, furnished with all those mealtime essentials (translation: you get to pack light!) and a bedroom tent, with a dressed superking bed for the adults, and two camp beds for the kids.
There's an electricity supply in both tents, while outside you'll find a hill-and-pasture-facing picnic table and a firepit, for al fresco chatting and dining.
Your cosy accommodation taken care of, it's time to find something to do!
You're welcome to start by exploring your surroundings, and saying a cheery hello to the sheep and pigs, who are always happy to meet new people. But if you're feeling a bit more energetic, you could always arrange an hour's kayaking on the lake...
...or take part in the site's brand-new Mud Run - a family-friendly challenge that's sure to end in giggles!
(If all that sounds just a little too much, you're more than welcome to brew a welcome cuppa, open up a good book, and simply relax instead).
