The replica Soviet Victor III class nuclear-powered sub was rescued and lovingly renovated by the campersite’s owners themselves, and features two comfy double beds and a single bunk.

But that’s not all! Cosy and characterful (note that head room is limited), delights include trap doors, ladders, a periscope, and an interactive dashboard. Well… where would a Bond film be without the fancy gadgets?

You’ll even have your own facilities block – ‘The Dock’ – which is home to a well-equipped canteen kitchen, shower, and loo. Just head through the doors to your patio – perfect for morning coffee.

Once you’ve settled in, you can choose from a plethora of walks that lead through the Clatterford streams, or to Carisbrooke Castle, mere minutes away. But you could also choose to stay on site and take advantage of the quirkiest facilities imaginable.
