From historic farm buildings to treehouses, Fair Oak Farm makes it easy to select accommodation to suit your group down to the ground. And set amongst gorgeous rural surroundings in High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you can soak up every minute of celebration in the heart of your own country estate.
The Grade II Listed Farmhouse (Sleeps 10-12)
Fair Oak Farm's beautiful farmhouse is over 400 years old, offering spectacular accommodation befitting the most special occasion. Set over three floors and packed to the rafters with original features, it's a charming and welcoming home for a large group to share. It also comes with its own private rear courtyard, outdoor seating, and a large garden to enjoy.
Curl up around the inglenook fireplace in the welcoming living room, sink into soft sofas, and listen to the comforting sound of the fire crackling away. The adjacent drawing room offers additional reception space, as well as a sofa-bed, sleeping up to two in cosy surroundings.
Enjoy meals together around the large dining table, with seating enough for everyone. Leading through from the open plan dining room, you'll come to a quintessential country kitchen, complete with a racing green Aga! If you prefer contemporary catering though, there's also a separate oven and grill to keep everyone happy.
Upstairs is the glorious Master double bedroom, complete with a dressing room, a large cot, and a luxury en-suite bathroom with power shower. An adjacent double room also offers an additional day bed, as well as its own en-suite bathroom. Two further first-floor bedrooms and a fifth second-floor bedroom each come with comfy double beds; all share a family bathroom. Each room can also be re-arranged as a twin room at your request.
The Grade II Listed Barns & Farm Buildings (Sleep 10-14)
Rather than all sleeping under one roof, why not enjoy the individuality of Fair Oak Farm's converted barns and farm buildings? These gorgeous, 17th-century outbuildings have been beautifully converted to offer three separate abodes, surrounding a private courtyard and fire pit!
The Barn and Cow Shed can combine to sleep six people. The former barn offers a magnificent open-plan, double-height living area, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and paneled walls, comprising a fully fitted kitchen/bar, dining and lounge seating with comfy antique furniture, it's a luxurious space to relax and unwind. From here, you'll find a twin room and a separate bathroom, while the former cow shed now houses two peaceful double bedrooms, each enjoying its own en-suite bathroom.
Next door, Stable Cottage sleeps two to four people, a small-but-perfectly-formed bolt hole. The open-plan living area features a fitted kitchen, dining area, and living area with a sofa-bed. The bedroom is a cosy nook, complete with a double bed and romantic canopy overhead, while a beautiful bathroom is found next door.
The Grain Store sits detached from the other buildings, and also sleeps two to four people. Beautiful beams draw your attention to the vaulted ceiling in the living room, where you'll find a sofa-bed, as well as a dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The double bedroom blends original features with modern luxury, while the bathroom comes complete with a gorgeous roll-top bath and separate shower.
The Eco-Lodge Tree Houses and Shepherd's Huts (Sleep up to 14)
Whether you're opting for the Farmhouse or Farm Buildings (or both!), additional guests can easily be accommodated in Fair Oak's variety of tree houses and shepherd's huts.
The treehouses can be found on the north side of the estate, set about 2m off the ground in an ancient tree line. These beautifully constructed, circular eco-lodges are fully heated and insulated, so have no fears of chilly nights!
The Grand Eco-Lodge Treehouse sleeps two to four, and is kitted out with a living area with sofa-bed, armchairs, a television, and dining furniture. You'll also find a kitchen, as well as a wet room with shower and WC, and a separate bedroom with a cosy double bed. Enjoy breathtaking views of the valley from your balcony and feel at one with nature in amongst the trees. Two further Eco-Lodge Treehouses sleep two apiece, offering the same level of luxury and facilities in a spacious studio space but without the addition of a separate double bedroom.
The Old Hay Barn is also found nearby. Sleeping two, it offers a double bed, a living and dining area and television. A kitchenette makes self-catering easy, and a shower room with WC completes the package in this comfy space.
The two Shepherd's Huts are nestled in the orchard, and again, each sleeps two. They too feature a double bed in each, as well as kitchenettes, shower room, living and dining space, a television and a log burner. Each one also comes with a private outdoor seating area and a canopy.
Wherever you choose to stay, guests at Farm Oak also have the full use of the fantastic Games Barn and Cinema Barn! Take a dip in the large pond to cool off on summer days, wander round the farm to meet the resident alpacas and peacocks, or get up close and personal with some feathered friends in a bird-handling session. Chef hire, catering and waiting staff can also be arranged for a special occasion, as can a tendered bar service.
Whether it's for a small wedding party, an anniversary, or a very special get-together, Fair Oak Farm is undoubtedly the perfect place for family and friends to celebrate in style. So send out the invites, pack your bags, and get those Champagne corks popping!
