A thatched-roof vintage wonderland that's ideal for adventurous families and pets, set in a charming Hampshire village.

Live out all the magic, charm and adventure of fairytale times past in Eat Me Drink Me Cottage, discovered in the village of East End, achingly close to the New Forest National Park and several sandy beaches.

Ideal for energetic families who enjoy a touch of the theatrical, rest assured that you won't be greeted by bland décor, plain white china and simple furnishings! Eccentric and colourfully enchanting to the last, step inside this thatched-roof, red rose and honeysuckle-adorned haven and experience a whole new wonderland of holiday fun.

Lovingly lived-in, charmingly chaotic and sleeping up to six adults, three children and the family dogs, you'll find plenty to entertain and inspire inside your cottage. Let's start with the beautiful Beckstein piano, a dressing-up box filled with quirky outfits, and the delightfully mismatched set of dinner-party plates for you to host many a Mad Hatter-style tea party!

Downstairs, the cheery bright yellow kitchen is the perfect setting for baking sessions and feast-preparation alike, with plenty of cupboards and equipment to discover. You'll find a convenient bath and shower room here too, as well as a boldly decorated, cosy lounge to relax in. Perhaps choose one of the room's many books to get lost in for a while?

The children's play room, adorned with red and featuring a TV with kids' channels, plus an array of vintage toys and dress-up outfits, is a true wonderland in itself! If the kids can't bear to be parted from this room for too long, you'll find two bedrooms conveniently close by.

Head upstairs to discover a wondrous master bedroom, complete with mahogany queen-sized sleigh bed and a wooden swing cot. A quirky children's bedroom, complete with two vintage beds, a cot and a small wooden bed, awaits you along the corridor, with a family bathroom in between.

Meanwhile, you'll find even more fun and adventure outside in the large garden, which includes an Olympic-sized trampoline, a rope swing and plenty of outdoor toys! If you're feeling adventurous, why not give camping outside a go?

By (sunny) day, pack a picnic and head off along a quiet lane to the tree-strewn, Isle of Wight-facing Tanners Lane Beach, where you can swim, play and watch the local swallows and amazons to your heart's content. Foodies may prefer a trip to nearby Lymington, with its delectable markets and quaint shops to browse through - with plenty of cows, donkeys and ponies to say hello to along your way!

The stunning National Park is nearby, and the perfect place to let the dogs (and the kids!) go wild, with plenty of walking tracks and scenery to feast your eyes upon.

You'll find many places to eat, drink and be merry in nearby...however, after all that fresh adventure, you're bound to feel in need of a treat! The cottage's friendly owners can arrange everything from storytellers and babysitters, to chefs and spa treatments, depending on what you're in the mood for.

So if you've always wanted to experience all the magical charm and energy of a children's fairytale life - but without the arch-enemies or evil spells - the family fun and adventure you'll discover at Eat Me Drink Me Cottage just has to be experienced!
