A ‘wow-factor' conversion of an historic Norfolk mill, with four luxurious floors of accommodation that's ideal for special group breaks.

Sleeping nine guests (and their two well-behaved dogs) in four impeccably-styled bedrooms, Cubitts is the ideal escape for groups seeking something different from the norm.

Why? No ordinary holiday haven, Cubitts is a true ‘wow-factor' conversion of a Norfolk mill that dates all the way back to the 1800s. Surrounded by sumptuous luxury throughout, you'll also note plenty of characterful reminders of the building's past as a working flour mill, such as the iron wheels and pulleys on the ceiling.

Accommodation here has been extremely well thought-out, with plenty of opportunities to view the surrounding canal, water meadows and well-stocked fishing pond. See if you can spot a visiting otter or kingfisher, as you cradle your morning coffee!

Sociably spacious and open-plan throughout, you'll find the main living and dining area on the view-filled second floor, equipped with plenty of comfy seating for everyone. On sunny evenings, you might choose to slide open the French doors and dine al fresco on the balcony - which has to be done at least once, in such a glorious setting!

Meanwhile, the kitchen features everything a budding TV chef might need, including an electric range cooker, and a central island with bar stools.

Discover a single bedroom on the first floor, complete with Xbox console! There are three more bedrooms on the third floor; two superkings with their own furnished balconies and en-suite bath or shower rooms, and one en-suite room that features four single beds, for that fun ‘sleepover' feel.

Head out to the lawned garden for catch-up drinks and a sizzling supper, as you chat excitedly about the rest of your stay.

There are plenty of different ways for everybody to spend their time, including fishing in the pond (a licence is required), taking the dogs for a run in nearby Bacton Woods, or heading out to explore the Broads National Park.

Beaches are in abundance too; simply head south for Happisburgh, complete with its iconic red-and-white lighthouse, or to the coastal village of Mundesley and its family-friendly Blue Flag beach.

If you prefer to indulge in bustling city life, historic Norwich makes for an invigorating day out, while culture vultures will enjoy a trip to Blickling Hall, a National Trust property that was the former home of Anne Boleyn.

With everyone going their separate ways during the day, you can look forward to coming together again by evening, as you pop open a bottle of bubbles, and watch that golden sunset sinking over the canal.
