Sleeping up to 18 guests (and their three well-behaved dogs), Chateau Angus Glens is a magical setting for large groups with something special to celebrate!

Infused with history, the 18th century castle enjoys an enchanting setting, within a 30,000-acre Angus estate that includes a huge private garden to take a turn around… or perhaps you’d prefer croquet on the lawn?

Inside is a beautiful and elegant mix of original features, with style and comfort that brings your holiday firmly up to date. There are plenty of fascinating nooks and crannies to explore, too – ideal for kids with active imaginations!

You can choose to relax and make merry in a glorious mix of formal and informal rooms, all with striking features and vaulted ceilings. On the ground floor, these include the long, light-filled playroom with table tennis and a music centre, and the billiards room, with arched windows and an open fire.

(Not forgetting the four-oven-Aga-equipped kitchen… which is certain to cause arguments about who gets to do the cooking!)

Head to the first floor to curl up with one of the many vintage books you’ll discover in the library, though there’s also a TV if you prefer more modern forms of entertainment. The sumptuous drawing room is here, too; perfect for sinking into the sofas after a banquet served in the grand dining room.

If the evening sun is out, you could always head for the furnished garden, instead, and enjoy an al fresco barbecue supper as day slowly transforms into star-studded night.
