Sleeping up to 10 lucky guests, a holiday at Broom Park will make you feel as though you're relaxing at your own much-loved country retreat, with your favourite people in tow.

A beautiful Grade II listed building that dates all the way back to 1780, Broom Park is also surrounded by two acres of magnificent, tranquil gardens that are ideal for taking a gentle turn around after a lunchtime feast!

You'll also be achingly close to Cornwall's sublime south coast, near the quaint fishing village of Mevagissey and Charlestown's historic harbour, while the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are practically on the doorstep.

Yet you'll need to leave the blissful confines of Broom Park first, and that could prove a challenge.  

Light, bright, and imbued with a welcoming home-from-home atmosphere, you can curl up in a cosy window seat with a book chosen from the extensive reception room library, or simply catch up on life around the large, elegant dining table.

Of course, you can expect plenty of modern conveniences, too.  The gleaming kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you could ask for, including a microwave and dishwasher, while the sumptuous, dual aspect lounge features a TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, so you won't have to miss any of your favourite shows.

Ideal for those after some extra ‘me' time, there's a peaceful double bedroom on the ground floor, with a private en-suite shower room, and a door that opens straight out onto the west-facing courtyard.

Everyone else will get to choose from the remaining first-floor bedrooms: a kingsize master with en-suite bathroom, a chic superking, a second double room, and a cheery twin that's perfect for the kids. Meanwhile, an additional family bathroom and a dedicated shower room on the top floor puts paid to awkward morning queues.

Start your day with a hearty home-cooked meal in the dedicated breakfast area, accessed via French doors in the dining room. Or if the sun is shining, why not catch those first morning rays out on the south-facing terrace instead, and enjoy soothing side-helpings of scenery and birdsong?

You can also savour the charms of the east-facing walled garden, and large, idyllic lawns that are ideal for lazing and playing alike!

Yes, you can head out and explore if you like - Broom Park's enviable position near the Roseland Peninsula means there's plenty to see and do in just about every direction.  

Though you're sure to feel your country retreat calling you towards the end of the day... to sit back, relax, and indulge in another melting golden sunset with your loved ones, evening tipple in hand.

Things to note

Saturday changeover, check in after 5pm, check out before 10am.  Pets are regrettably not permitted. A travel cot with linen and two high chairs can be provided on request.
