Giddy-up, horse lovers - it's time to get your gallop on at Brooks Vintage Horseboxes - three astounding, custom-designed horseboxes located on a 15-acre estate in the glorious Wye Valley.

Found at Brooks Country House - a Georgian manor house hotel in idyllic countryside between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye - these truly fabulous former Bedford horseboxes have undergone unbelievable transformations into havens of luxury! Whether you're a horse lover or you simply appreciate ingenious design, you'll be in your element at this incredible rural hideaway.

These three upcycled beauties are found next to the coach house in their own courtyard, just a short walk from tranquil terraces, a luxurious outdoor swimming pool and the main hotel itself. Prepare to be mesmerised by the beautiful exteriors of each, where stunning polished mahogany cladding and sophisticated navy blue paintwork give a hint of the stylish interiors you'll find inside!

Each horsebox is individually designed, but all offer superb touches and ultimate luxury. You might find yourself staying in one of the two 1960s horseboxes, or perhaps you'll lay your head in the more modern 1980 model. The smaller horsebox is perfect for a couple with its comfy double mezzanine-level bed - a romantic retreat with a twist! And if you're bringing children, you'll find plenty of room in one of the larger horseboxes, with their fantastic fold-down bunkbeds and heavenly double bed in the ‘Luton' over the cab.

Whichever you choose, you'll be amazed by the superb interiors, complete with everything you'll need to live, sleep and freshen up in total comfort. Tongue-and-groove wood panelled walls and stunning vintage floorboards add a touch of country charm, gorgeous Designers' Guild fabrics add style, while LED lighting and the flat-screen TV will make you forget you're in a horsebox at all. You'll even find a stylish wet room in your horsebox home, complete with a flushing toilet, a Hans Grohe power shower and classy metro tiles - very swish!

What's more, equestrian enthusiasts will delight in the host of horsey touches - from Black Beauty and National Velvet on the bookshelves to the knotted lead ropes tying up the bunkbeds!

Every horsebox also features its own private terrace for soaking up the sun in the pretty courtyard. Featuring glass-panelled sides, striking corner stilts painted fuchsia pink, and foliage screening for extra privacy, it's the ideal spot for enjoying a drink or two while the kids pretend to drive the original cab (fear not, the horsebox is firmly secured to its spot!).

While staying in your vintage horsebox, you can also benefit from the superb facilities of Brooks Guest House, including its acclaimed restaurant and bar, gym, Swedish barrel sauna with refreshing (!) bucket shower, and the outdoor heated pool. Children can let off steam in the games room, while the whole family can enjoy a stroll around the beautiful grounds and the 1000 acres of National Trust land beyond, spotting swans on the lake, lambs on the hill and even pheasants if you're lucky.

You're also ideally placed for exploring further afield in the magnificent Wye Valley, whether you're walking, cycling or carrying on the holiday theme with a spot of horse riding! Charming Ross-on-Wye is well worth a visit too for its gift shops, tea rooms and the historic Goodrich Castle. Or why not swap the scenery for the city with a daytrip to Cardiff or Birmingham? Both are just an hour's drive away.

When it comes to totally inspired accommodation in a glorious countryside location, it really is a one-horse race...it's got to be the unforgettable glamping experience of Brooks Vintage Horseboxes!
