An idyllic eco-and pet-friendly architect designed retreat, nestled in an ancient Suffolk village with chocolate-box rural views.
  • Sleeps: 10
  • Bedrooms: 5
  • Bathrooms: 4
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

A modern, eco-friendly take on a traditional farmhouse, you’ll find Babbelkous dreamily nestled in the ancient Suffolk village of Bramfield, surrounded by picture-perfect country scenery.

What better excuse to gather some of your favourite people – and your favourite pet – together for a holiday that’s rich in rural relaxation?

Cleverly crafted from wood and brick, there’s a breathable, laid-back quality to Babbelkous that will compel you to unwind… almost from the moment you walk through the door.

The enormous, colourfully-furnished living space is perfect for socialising over afternoon tipples, as full-height bi-fold doors both invite the daylight in, and showcase those peaceful green views to perfection. Later on, simply light the woodburning stove to feel ridiculously cosy.

There’ll be a delicious welcome hamper waiting for you in the open-plan kitchen and diner, which also boasts vaulted ceilings and the most incredible views. Paired with gleaming, up-to-the-minute cooking equipment, there could well be arguments over who gets to cook!

Break bread inside at the dining table, or head outside, fire up the barbecue and pizza oven, and watch the sunset from the comfort of the courtyard or patio areas… bliss.

Feel like a post-dinner stroll? Simply head through the gardens, on towards the surrounding meadows, orchard and woodland. Here you can find a spot to get lost in a good book, or simply listen to the gentle soundtrack of birds and wildlife.
