Adhurst Yurts & Cabin is no ordinary outdoor hideaway! Recommended by The Sunday Times, you'll find a a gorgeous selection of yurts. Further into the ancient woodland you happen upon the blissfully private and stylish canvas-roofed Coppicer's Cabin.
From the moment you arrive on the 450 acre Adhurst Estate, you'll feel the cares of everyday life melt away as you luxuriate in the secluded tranquillity of your new holiday home. Away from busy roads, all you need to do is unpack, then simply relax and listen to the soothing sounds of birdsong and gently rustling trees, or perhaps wander down to the observation deck overlooking the river.
Lovingly hand-built, and inspired by the site's real-life coppicer Fred, Coppicer's Cabin sleeps up to six people, with pets welcome. A true secluded sanctuary that features a keen sense of adventure, you'll find everything you need to enjoy a refreshing stay in the Great Outdoors without compromising on style or comfort. Cosy luxury is the order of the day, with down duvets and huge pillows throughout.
An equipped veranda kitchen houses a two-burner gas hob, and you'll also find a bonfire area (perfect for marshmallow toasting!) with a tripod cooking system for sizzling al fresco dining. You'll also find your own privy and a woodland shower with plenty of lovely hot water! Staying cosy throughout your stay is no problem at all, with a French cylindrical wood burner - fully stocked with plenty of wood - that can stay heated all night long.
You'll soon discover that snoozing arrangements are as versatile as the cabin itself! The cosy double bed is perfect for those who prefer a more traditional sleep area, which also includes two camp beds for children. Those seeking a little extra adventure will love the sleeping platform right underneath the canvas roof, accessed by climbing a tree instead of a ladder! There are two single futons on the upper deck.
Meanwhile, you can choose from one of five 18' diameter yurts with wooden floor - each one sleeping up to four guests in comfort.
Each yurt is equipped with a duvet-topped double bed, a fire bowl and cast-iron cookware - and if you're in the mood for some extra luxury, Willow Yurt features a slipper bath, strewn with glowing fairy lights. Each yurt also has its own campfire area and covered safari kitchen with running water and gas hob.
Once you're settled in, why not set about exploring the local area - and maybe learning a new skill in the process? Outdoor Skills sessions with professional instructors are available on site, along with plant and tree identification walks, basketry and fire masterclasses and even bread baking! Catch-and-release flyfishing can also be arranged on the River Rother.
Children will love the many activities to be found on site, including a rope swing, zip wire and tennis. Let your imagination run wild and build a den, or why not pack a picnic and enjoy it by the rushing river?
There are three pubs within walking distance and all are dog-friendly, with more activities nearby that include boating, polo, and the fantastic pick-your-own farm one mile away for strawberries and blueberries. There's even a visiting fishmonger, perfect for choosing some produce for your BBQ West Wittering beach is 45 minutes away by car, for those who fancy a day out with ice cream and fish and chips!

Things to note
Pets are welcomed, please bring your own sleeping bags for the single beds and towels for the shower. Check-in time is 4pm, check out is 10:30am. Usual check in days are Friday or Monday, but midweek 2 night stays are available to start or end on a Wednesday.
