Privately positioned in rural Trøndelag, right on the edge of the shimmering Trondheim Fjord, Trones Eye is a captivating retreat that packs a scenic punch.

(The name Trones Eye comes from the igloo’s crystal-clear, eye-like membrane, which is strong enough to withstand whatever the weather decides to throw at it!)

Sleeping up to four guests in a double kingsize bed and two singles, you’ll be cosily equipped with heating, and soothed by a soundtrack of birdsong, and water lapping against the rocks.

After a dreamy night’s sleep under the stars, you’ve even got the option of having a delicious breakfast of coffee, juice, and freshly baked buns delivered straight to your igloo… which you’ll get to savour at your al fresco dining table.

A more beautiful start to the day would be very hard to imagine!
