Sleeping up to 5 guests, the spacious and thoughtfully-furnished African safari tent is ideal for relaxed small-family breaks, with a cosy sleeping space that features a kingsize bed, and a single that can be converted into bunk beds for two if needed and a doudle sofa bed. (the sleeping area can be easily separated by a curtain).

The charming interior feels instantly welcoming and homely, with an elegant lounge furnished with a squishy sofa, an ornament-clad dresser and bookcase, and a table and chairs for indoor dining.

The cooking area, meanwhile, is well-equipped with a gas cooker, a fridge, and all the utensils you could want. Yet we've got a sneaking suspicion that most nights will be sizzling barbecue night, out on that glorious terrace!

Here you'll find plenty of space for outdoor feasting and festivities, with vibrant dining furniture, plus those all-important sun loungers, and of course, the aforementioned pool. Just add cocktails and a melting Algarve sunset, and you're in holiday heaven.

What to do after that sound night's sleep under canvas-and-stars?  Well, after you've freshened up in your shower room, accompanied by a fluffy stack of freshly-laundered towels, you'll soon find there's plenty to see and do.

You'll be able to spot Fuzeta's beautiful golden beach from your terrace, and it's just a few miles away if you decide to pay a visit.  The bustling fishing town is well worth spending time in, too, if you want to get under the skin of the ‘real' Algarve and its fascinating culture (try the local market for the freshest fish you're ever likely to taste!)

Ria Formosa, a wetland of international importance, is a glorious maze of islands, marshes and canals in which diverse wildlife thrives, so is a real must-visit for nature lovers.
