Full description
An award-winning haven with a whimsical selection of eco-friendly retreats, peacefully secluded amongst an ancient plum orchard in the Vale of Evesham.

Surrounded by magical woodland and pastel-hued blossoms in the fruitful Vale of Evesham, Plum Tree Glamping is an award-winning, picture-perfect retreat for those seeking a fresh escape from everyday life.

Occupying seven glorious acres of an ancient plum orchard and woodland, you'll be instantly captivated by the soothing panoramic vista of unspoilt nature, complete with visiting wildlife and the most awe-inspiring sunsets.

Friendly owners Maggie and John are passionate about preserving their slice of natural paradise, so you'll find your chosen retreat is rich in eco-friendly comfort, including private al fresco kitchens, gas-powered showers, and compost loos.

You'll also find each retreat is beautifully named after a variety of plum grown in the surrounding orchard. Perfect for a romantic couple, Avalon is an elegant, expertly restored vintage railway wagon that looks out over the woodland, with soft-toned décor, self-contained facilities, and a wood-burning stove to give your evenings an irresistible glow.

Bringing the family? Choose from two spacious five-metre bell tents and a luxurious five-metre yurt, each one cosily furnished and positioned to capture the most magnificent views.

Both Egg Plum and Greengage Bell Tents feature a luxuriously-dressed double bed, with two extra airbeds added for the kids on request, plus a selection of books and games, and plenty of snuggly blankets.

Your private facilities, meanwhile, are contained in a beautiful hand-made hut that's a short wander away (choose Greengage for the shortest wander!)

Last but by no means least, Imperial Yurt, up in the woodlands, overlooks the orchard and across to the Malverns. Along with a covered handmade al fresco kitchen, you'll have a private, oak-decked balcony to watch the sunrise from... as well as listening out for birdsong and barking deer!

Equipped with a woodburner and five layers of toasty insulation, there's a downy double bed to snuggle in, while two dreamy huts house your private facilities.

What to do once you've settled in? Enjoy a sizzling barbecue supper on your very own firepit, which you can also use to toast marshmallows under the stars later on.

Don't feel like cooking? You're spoilt for choice of pubs and restaurants in the surrounding towns and villages, including Pershore and Evesham. Try The Fleece at Bretforton, a National Trust-owned 15th century inn, for a uniquely historic dining experience.

Along with a plethora of outdoor activity, you're also ideally located to explore the North Cotswolds via endless trails... meaning you'd better pack some sturdy footwear for what's sure to be an unforgettable stay at Plum Tree Glamping!

Things to note

Pets are not permitted. If you are bringing children, please bring towels for them, along with bedding for the airbeds supplied in the bell tents. Please bring a torch and slippers to wear inside your chosen accommodation.

"Wow, what little gem this place is, a beautiful setting with fantastic hosts. This review will not even come close to expressing what a fabulous experience we had. Everything was just perfect, Maggie welcomed us and made us feel instantly at home, she has thought of absolutely everything and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. She recommended great ideas for walks and places to eat. John's craftsmanship is amazing, the individual toilet/shower hut is a work of art! We felt totally relaxed and revived in this little haven, surrounded by nature. We are hoping to come again soon and would say to anyone thinking of glamping, this is definitely the place to come - it's all you could wish for and more."

"I cannot recommend plum tree glamping enough, was such a lovely warm welcome, the arrival treats and more made it more special for my birthday. The bed is super super comfy! And the toilet is the most awesome one I've ever seen- more should be like it. It's in a lovely setting, and Maggie and John have made it beautiful. Can't wait to return. Me and my partner really enjoyed it, what a lovely place to relax."
