Known for its eclectic collection of unusual accommodation (there’s a flying saucer, and a log cabin shaped like a witch’s hat!), Apple Camping is a dream destination for out-of-the-ordinary stays. The latest addition to the soothing Pembrokeshire site is an authentic, grounded Airbus called Arabian Nights, cosily styled and furnished for a family of four.

Complete with a real air stewards’ kitchen (equipped with all the pots and pans you’ll need), and a private, piping hot shower and loo, everything is covered for a relaxing stay.

The plane’s original switches have been cleverly modified to provide you with plenty of lighting, and when you decide to disembark, you’ll find an al fresco shelter with a gorgeous ‘desert oasis’ mural to enjoy. Grab a drink and revel in the calm tranquility of the rural site, which is located next to a working farm close to Saundersfoot’s spectacular Blue Flag beach.

But for now, it’s time to fasten those seatbelts…for the smoothest flight you’re ever likely to take!
