Set on a hilltop just 25 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Costa Brava, and with Barcelona accessible in just over an hour, Villa CP is perfectly and peacefully positioned for you to enjoy Catalonia in all its mountainous glory.

Originally a traditional farmhouse, Villa CP has been stunningly rebuilt by a renowned Barcelona-based architect, transforming the space into a stylish and sustainable holiday home for groups of up to ten people – a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with some of your favourite people in spacious seclusion.

The main farmhouse sleeps eight people in four double bedrooms, while the separate annex sleeps two and is ideal for a couple, complete with private bathroom and a kitchen that overlooks 60 acres of lush forest land.

No ordinary Spanish villa, you’ll notice the quality of your surroundings from the moment you arrive, with supreme attention to detail that blends tradition with contemporary styling throughout. Décor is soft-toned and muted, allowing plenty of scope for you to admire the vibrant textiles and classic pieces of furniture.

Expertly designed to be naturally cool in summer and warm in winter, the walls are covered with natural clay, and with cooled floors perfectly tempering hot summer afternoons, a better setting for relaxation simply can’t be imagined!

Marvel at the spectacular kitchen, with its huge island and cutting-edge equipment (indeed, budding chefs may not leave this room all holiday long!)  Exquisite Bisazza tiles adorn the bathrooms, while the beds have been designed with comfort in mind, from the two-metre Emperor-sized bed in the master suite, to the sensuous Japanese futon mattress discovered in the annex.

Outside is another world of beauty, with flourishing Mediterranean gardens ideal for fruit and vegetable foraging, a chlorine-free, plant-filtered fresh water infinity pool and miles of open space just begging to be indulged!

What the guests of Villa CP say

“Villa CP is a truly wonderful house and the views are exceptional. The house is cool and spacious. The kitchen is well designed and fabulously easy to use. What could be better than foraging in the garden for tomatoes, figs, lemons and melons. A special thank you for that Guy – we really did love those figs! The natural swimming pool is lovely and there were often little frogs basking around its perimeter. We had four 18-20 year old boys who all totally loved the house. They enjoyed playing table tennis, swimming, marathaon monopoly sessions, and lots of eating and sleeping! They also enjoyed trips to the nearby water park, Girona (location of Game of Thrones Season 6!) and a night out in Barcelona. There are some great beaches nearby and pretty villages. So plenty to do if you want to explore the area. A dream house. We can’t wait to go back.”

“No better way to unwind than to spend a week in this idyllic spot. The house is extremely well equipped and the owners are generous in their approach to their guests with plentiful kitchen equipment, games for the kids etc. The property manager Monica is extremely helpful and charming – nothing was too much trouble. We had a splendid time.”

“We went with the whole family to spend a few days in November. My 65-year-old parents, my 35-year-old sister, my brother-in-law and I agreed that it was one of the most spectacular family weekends we have ever had. A privileged environment where time stops and nobody wants to leave. The house is spectacular, the design is taken care of down to the smallest detail and its owners make everything ready for the guests. Not missing anything, everything is worthy of a 5 star hotel. And when night falls, that sky so full of stars over the immensity of the natural park overwhelms you. An ideal place to contact nature, breathe and enjoy a few days as a family. We will be back!”
