Botelet Farm - come and reconnect with nature and each-other, with a luxuriously rural stay in a special slice of fresh Cornish paradise.

Deliciously hidden away amongst breathtaking natural scenery and an array of historic buildings, you'll find Botelet Farm, an exquisite storybook setting close to the Iron Age Hill Fort of Bury Down near Liskeard.  The farm, featuring acres of ancient fields and woodland, has been lovingly nurtured by generations of the same family for 150 years.

Representing a rural escape at its most gloriously unique, Botelet Farm comprises rustic, eco-friendly accommodation to suit every taste, from the original bed and breakfast in the farmhouse itself (an offering that began back in the 1930s) to charming self-catering cottages.

For those who prefer reconnecting with the natural world, discover a captivating yurt and pre-erected bell tent that feature panoramic views towards the south coast and a true insight into life on a working farm.  Power is provided by wind turbines and solar, and natural mineral water is pumped from below the orchard, fresh and ready for drinking.

The authentic Mongolian Lower Yurt for two, crafted from locally-sourced oak and ash, is serenely secluded in its own wild flower orchard, blending beautifully with its natural surroundings where soothing, sweet-scented views lead you across the valley and rolling hills.  You'll soon find you're in the perfect place to watch the sunset over a refreshing glass of wine, take a languorous picnic in the woodland - or even enjoy a healing on-site massage in the Botelet treatment room!

Inside your spacious yurt will be waiting everything you need to enjoy a nature-filled break with an extra helping of opulence, including charging points, lighting, an electric hob and stovetop espresso maker.  A warming wood stove will keep you toasty no matter what the weather decides to throw at you, while a thoughtfully-positioned skylight means stargazing can be a treat even from the inside.

The double futon bed is dressed for a cosy night's sleep, with soft pillows, a duvet and a heated blanket for chillier nights, set on wooden floorboards to give the feeling of a deluxe hotel suite bedroom.  A barbecue is provided for al-fresco feasts, and a shared hot shower and WC are available just a short walk away.

There are two camping pitches available in wildflower meadowland by the farm, where you can pitch your own tent or stay in a pre-erected, four-metre unfurnished bell tent that sleeps up to four people.  The comfy tent features a thick, waterproof groundsheet and a double mattress can be provided on request.

Prepare your own sizzling camping-style breakfast in the morning, or if you are visiting in high Summer season perhaps take advantage of a pre-booked, freshly-prepared Botelet breakfast!

Venturing out of your accommodation by day is an invigorating pleasure to be savoured, whether you're exploring the 300 acres of Botelet countryside, learning about the history of Bury Down, or taking a picnic into the woodland.  Perhaps take the opportunity to observe and get involved in a spot of authentic farm life by helping to feed the chickens and collecting eggs.

Of course, a holiday wouldn't be a holiday without a touch of me-time indulgence, provided by the dedicated Botelet treatment room with a personalised massage, guided meditation practice - or simply relaxing in a deckchair with that book you've never quite found the time to start.

Further afield you can discover an array of charming local towns including Fowey, Lostwithiel and Looe, featuring cafes, restaurants and shops, along with a range of activities to try including cycling, canoeing and horseriding.

So for camping with a uniquely historic and luxurious difference that will leave you feeling restored, revived and ready to face the world with a new-found spring in your step, head for Botelet Farm and prepare your senses for plenty of natural indulgence.
