Sleeping up to ten people, the Cattle Sheds is a glorious barn conversion designed in contemporary style by award-winning architect Carl Turner.

Home to cattle on the working Great Barn Farm site right up to the 1990s, these days you and your favourite people can relax, reconnect and enjoy the soothing Norfolk farmland surroundings from this unique and luxurious open-plan home.

Better still, as part of your introduction to life on the farm, you’ll also have access to the on-site indoor swimming pool, spa and steam room complex – known as the Sheep Dip.

From the moment you step inside the two-storey barn conversion, you’ll be enthralled by its expert design.  Large and lovely throughout, there is plenty of sociable space for those long-awaited catch-ups – accented by a huge fourteen-metre, south-facing window that floods your surroundings with light.   Stylish touches, including polished concrete flooring, stripped wood and original brick walls, give a rustic yet opulent feel.

Underfloor heating will keep you all perfectly toasty as you convene over drinks in the generous living room and dining area, with stunning views out to your private garden.  If you prefer, al-fresco dining with panoramic countryside views is a wonderful treat, particularly at sunset.

Meanwhile, you can make like a celebrity chef filming the latest episode of your TV cookery show in the expansive, well-equipped kitchen…even non-cooks will be converted!

Finally, five wonderfully cosy bedrooms await when it’s time to turn in, each with its own en-suite (meaning no queues to freshen up in the morning).

While you may be tempted to stay put in your contemporary Cattle Sheds, why not get out and graze in the local area?  With all the delights of the Great Outdoors literally on your doorstep, there’s a great deal to see and do.

Whether you prefer shopping, cycling or sailing, you’ll find something to suit everybody’s holiday tastes – no matter how demanding!  For starters, there are many woodland walks to be taken in the surrounding area, with wildlife trails and nature reserves to wander through for those in love with the natural world.

The stunning North Sea coast lies nearby, offering miles of sparkling waterways and the Norfolk Broads, ideal for those who enjoy setting sail.  Just 45 minutes away are some of the UK’s cleanest and most picturesque beaches, including Heacham, Old Hunstanton and Brancaster.

You’ll also find you’re temptingly close to an array of shopping opportunities, with King’s Lynn and Norwich close by.  In fact, why not team a shopping expedition with a meander round one of the area’s many stately homes?
